Released in December 2020, Apple's AirPods Max were praised by former Mashable tech reporter Brenda Stolyar for their "excellent audio quality, easy-to-use controls, and good battery life." However, they were blasted on social media for their astronomical price (although that hasn't deterred folks from buying them) of $549.
